ARE ANY REINDEER HARMED IN MAKING OF THE ANTLER TAGS?
No, I use shed antlers, found in the forests.
WILL MY DOG TRY TO EAT THE TAG?
The antler is treated so it doesn't smell like antler, but of course you know your dog the best, and have to consider if he has had previous issues with chewing equipment. I advise to attach the tag with no extra rings to a well fitting collar, so your dog can't reach it with mouth, that goes with any tag, metal or antler. It is your responsibility to keep the tag out of pup's reach.
ARE ANTLER TAGS WATER AND WEATHER PROOF?
Antler is very durable and in most cases it dries well without damaging the drawing. But keep in mind it is still an organic material and each piece can act differently when met with different weather pressure. I try my best to make the tags waterproof but I cannot guarantee if they will last a lifetime. Some tags wear off quicker and some last for years.
